Job Title: Audit Manager
Location: Metro Detroit
State: Michigan
Position Description: This highly visible role will report directly the Director of Internal Audit and be responsible for the following: providing leadership in the worldwide management of the internal audit function, such as planning, conducting and monitoring operational/financial audits, reviewing work papers and preparing/editing exception summaries for audit reports, providing leadership on the use of auditing tools and techniques, including the primary responsibility for the operational relationship with software providers and keeping up to date with new developments in auditing tools and techniques, providing recommendations to the Director of Internal Audit for the purpose of identifying process improvements and cost savings, ensuring that there is timely follow-up on all material weaknesses, significant deficiencies and other audit findings, working cooperatively with the external auditors to coordinate audit activities and to identify time and cost savings opportunities, ensuring that the records, transactions and the activities of the internal audit department are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reviewing audit programs, questionnaires, and other permanent work paper file documentation for completeness, applicability, and efficiency, modifying and adapting procedures to resolve unusual auditing issues, working closely with the Director of Internal Audit to assess potential sources of business risk and to develop, update, and execute the annual audit plan responsive to such risk assessment, and various other tasks as assigned.

Salary Range: $110K - $120K plus 10% bonus

Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates need 7+ years of experience and need to be a CPA/CIA coming directly out of the Big 4 as an Audit/Assurance Manager or currently be an Audit Manager at an SEC Registrant.
