Job Title: Manager of External Reporting
Location: Metro Detroit
State: Michigan
Position Description: The primary purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely SEC Filings (10K, 10Q, etc.) as well as to ensure that proper internal controls are in place as they relate to external reporting procedures.  Routine responsibilities for this role will include: authoring oversight of SEC Filings on a quarterly basis, designing and documenting internal controls around the external reporting function, testing the effectiveness of internal controls as they relate to the reporting function, coordinating with internal and external auditors, filing various press releases, providing clear business results to shareholders and potential investors, regularly interacting with the most senior members of executive management, and various other duties as assigned.

Company Description: This company is a leading financial services company that is growing at a 30% rate and realizing some of the highest gross margins in the entire industry attributable to its unique, cutting edge technology and operating model.  The company culture is that of internal promotion and advancement.  This highly visible reporting role will report directly to the company's Corporate Controller and as such have the option of being a likely rotation candidate due to the role's overall visibility and regular interaction with executive management.


Salary Range: $105K - $115K plus 15% - 20% bonus

Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates need to be a CPA and either be actively managing the external reporting process at an SEC Registrant or have made manager within a Big 4 or Large Regional CPA firm with audit/assurance experience on SEC engagements.
